Women Impressionists - neglected modern mistresses Martin Heard Tuesday 09 January 2018

Martin Heard studied History of Art at Manchester University. Afterwards he spent 3 years in the editorial department of a fine art publishing company before departing for a career in IT. For the past 10 years he has devoted his time to researching Art Historical periods and subjects that have attracted his interest, enriching his knowledge and appreciation with visits to the galleries and relevant sites for his subjects.

The lecture will look at the work and lives of Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Eva Gonzales, Marie Bracquemond and others.
